Uncharted officially opened its first East Coast store in Greenvale, the chain said in a news release on Tuesday, Mar. 25. The shop is located in Green Cove Plaza at 90 Northern Boulevard.

Backed by The Paper Store, Uncharted debuted in the Chicago suburbs in the fall of 2024 and quickly became the top-performing store in the company's portfolio.

"Greenvale's vibrant community made it the perfect choice for Uncharted's East Coast debut," said Tom Anderson, president and CEO of The Paper Store. "The enthusiastic response from customers at our Illinois store has been a strong driver of our expansion. We're confident Long Island shoppers will take to this sister brand and its impressive lineup of best-selling products."

The Greenvale location spans over 10,700 square feet and employs more than 30 workers. It’s the second Uncharted store nationwide and the first outside Illinois.

Visitors can expect a rotating selection of in-demand brands, including Stanley and Owala drinkware, Free People, Birkenstock, and Kendra Scott.

The store also features home décor, toys, and beauty items. It also offers unique in-store experiences like ear piercing and seasonal events.

To celebrate, Uncharted will host a grand opening event on Saturday, Mar. 29, and Sunday, Mar. 30, with the store opening at 9 a.m. on both days. The first 100 customers will receive mystery gift cards, and Swedish candy brand BonBon will host a pop-up cart starting at 10 a.m.

The store's regular hours will be 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays. It'll also be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.

At least six more Uncharted stores are planned in Illinois as part of a $60 million investment in new and existing locations through 2029.
